My Revival
When I look back today,
I see a period of grey,
A time when I was merely a ghost,
I was worse off than most,
I had gotten into a world of my own,
lost in my mind on a drug infested throne,
It fealt like it was meant to be,
A world destined to be without me,
I was unable to tell,
That I was living in hell,
It's so easy to cover the past with a blind,
and let the drugs take over your mind,
It's like a full scale attack,
When you'r friends no longer have your back,
You want a way out,
You may scream and shout,
Finally I woke up wanting something new,
I had no idea what to do,
I had to break myself down,
To turn my smile into a frown,
I soon realized it would be hard,
I couldnt let down my guard,
A few days in I noticed a change,
My mind seemed to have more range,
I saw myself striving,
My body was thriving,
And to this day I haven't looked back,
I'm still afriad of its all out attack.
